my tiny nest was conceived one night when Alessia Corpino and Julie Frank met at a dinner at Café Gitane in the West Village. Once the designer and the architect began chatting about their careers and Alessia’s son, they realized a gap in the interior design market: someone who specialized in unique, personalized and affordable nurseries and children’s rooms in New York City. Alessia had discovered this void in services when setting up her son’s room, and Julie had always been the go-to for all her friends when it came time to design their nurseries and play rooms.
Over a home-cooked meal at Alessia’s Upper West Side apartment, the two women solidified their vision for a company that would join their mutual passion for design and for children. And so my tiny nest was born to help expectant parents create special rooms for their little children.
